Snap Out of Your Head and Into Your Life!
We all have great ideas that come to us in the middle of the night or just as we awake in the morning. My latest midnight inspiration woke me up with an intense passion and eagerness to be more connected with my authentic voice. How could I accomplish this? After much pondering, I realized that the more aware I become of when I am disconnecting from my authentic voice—when I am stifled by feelings of doubt, disappointment, anxiety, overwhelm or anger—the more I can overcome these stifling emotional disconnects, and the stronger my connection grows.Isn’t it ironic? As I acknowledge my doubt I am less doubtful; as I acknowledge my anxiousness, I am capable of releasing my fears and opening my mind to “what is” rather than being consumed by “what is not”! My recognition of these feelings of insecurity or distance from my true self, allows me to use my method to change my negative state of mind. I acknowledge my feelings of overwhelm and sense the tightness in my chest and neck, and then breathe to this sensation in my body. I Snap Out of the experience of overwhelm, and joyfully re-connect with my authentic voice.

Q: I strongly feel that I am in the right place right now, but sometimes I begin to doubt that I'm really going to make it in the career I have chosen. How can I transform my doubt and begin to believe that I will succeed?
A: Thank you for sharing this—I know how painful doubt is, and I have been there myself. My most difficult struggle while developing my career was leaving behind my feelings of “doubt.” What is doubt? Doubt is an illusion in your mind that stems from what psychologists call “negative conditioning.” We are not born doubting ourselves: society places irrational fears upon us and “conditions” us to believe in them. Always remember, doubt only exists within the conditioned mind, and you can break free from the conditioned mind!
You may not realize it, but you have overcome doubt before! Every time you weren’t sure if you could make it past the finish line—and did! Every time you were unsure of success, but then succeeded. You transcended doubt, the illusion that was holding you back, and thus dispelled the doubt.
But it’s true that there is an easier way. You don’t need to suffer the agony of not knowing if you will make it. If you make your thought process conscious with the Snap Out Of It Now!
